Advice about visiting our services
We know this is a worrying time for everyone and the safety and wellbeing of the people we support, our staff and volunteers, remains our priority.
There are no restrictions for people wanting to visit our care homes. However, there are some measures that we still need visitors to follow to help us keep people safe. We have completed an assessment with our customers to agree on the most suitable visiting arrangements.
What do I have to do when I visit a service?
We will still ask to take your temperature when you arrive and sign a Declaration Form.
You no longer need to take a Lateral Flow Test before visiting unless you support someone with personal care. If you need to take a test, you can test at home, or do one when you arrive. However, if you do it on arrival, you may have to wait 20-30 minutes to confirm the test result.
What happens if there's an outbreak in a service
We may have to impose additional restrictions when the service is in an outbreak. These restrictions have eased but are still in place. We will try and let you know if we do have an outbreak.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with your local service for more detailed information about their specific visiting arrangements.
Thank you for your patience and support.
